Choose System Preferences from the Apple menu.Note: If Printer Setup Utility won't open at all (possibly due to your printing issue), you can try to access the Reset Printing System feature directly by holding down the Option key while opening Printer Setup Utility. From the Printer Setup Utility menu, choose 'Reset Printing System'.In the Finder, choose 'Utilities' from the Go menu.Regarding Administrator users, please refer to the Mac OS X owner's manual. Login with a user name with the Computer administrator account type to delete the MP drivers.Reset Printing System is available only in versions 10.4.x and 10.5.x of the Mac OS X operating system.(You cannot choose which one to delete or which one to keep.) Install the printer driver with the CD-ROM prepackaged with the printer or download it from the Canon website to reinstall. When multiple Canon inkjet printer drivers or Canon scanner drivers such as ScanGear MP or ScanGear CS are installed in the computer, perform the following to delete them ALL. Reset Printing System should only be used as a "last resort" for troubleshooting a printing issue.Uninstall then reinstall the drivers if error messages occur or if the device does not operate correctly.
