I've tried unselecting all the other devices as well, no go. However, even though the USB UNO mini shows up and says it's connected in the external devices setup it never works. The MPK mini is tempermental but I can get it to work eventually. I have set up the midi devices per the instructions (watched EVERY video I could find as well) and I've been a computer specialist and Sonar user for decades so it's not new to me. When I start up S1, it goes through it's list as it begins and always comes up with "failed to open USB UNO midi device". My 3rd synth is a Roland JD-Xi which I use for audio but also have connected through my Uno as an extra midi input. I also use an Akai MPK mini via USB as well. I have a Roland D-20 synth that I use for midi input connected through my Konnekt48/firewire (midi only, audio is ADAT to my Apollo). So far so good except last night I could NOT get S1 to recognize my M-Audio USB Uno. Hi, I'm a recent Sonar traveler and I'm getting S1 set up.
